Our winery is located in the region between the rivers Danube and Tisza. The grape growing in this region has a thousand years past. Our legal predecessor was established in 1950. The Szikrai Winery Ltd. has been operating on these bases and in its present form since 1-st of January 1990. The company has been fully owned by Hungarians since its existence for more than 60 years.
Initially the profile of our company was grape processing and winery. Besides our quality and table wines, we are producing vermouth and champagne, too. By the time the wine-producing was complemented with the production of food products. Today, this product scope covers the major part of our sales. Among them, the famous Piroska fruit syrups family and the popular Tini non-alcoholic sparkling drink family are the best known.
In order to guarantee the excellent quality of the products, our company possesses the quality certificates for complying both Hungarian and international quality management requirements.
